Witchy Women!

Okay, so most of the time I don't dress up to act like a witchy mom, but last night we went all out. I went with Robyn, her sister Jill, and Jill's friends to Witchapalooza at Gardner Village--a fabulous girls night out. The dinner show was fun, but the best part was dressing up and seeing everyone else's incredibly creative witch costumes! They were amazing!

Barnyard Boo!

We had a GREAT time at Thanksgiving Point with all the cousins today. Okay, so we missed Keri and Millie. I guess you probably should be more than two weeks old and more than five pounds to go. Next year! Kaitlyn went to bed in tears tonight because she already missed Madison so much. Thanks for a FANTASTIC time, Moom and Tim!

Trip to the Zoo

I thought it would be fun and a "good mom" thing to do to take the kids on an outing to the zoo the last day they had off school. Wow, has Hogle Zoo changed since I was there last! I had a great time seeing all the new things. All Luke said (whined) was, "I caaaann't waaaalk anymore!" And Jackson just kept asking when we were leaving. So much for a fun day out. It ended up falling into the "We are spending time together and you WILL enjoy it, dang it!" type of activity. So much for my good intentions!

Go Utes!!!

Last Thursday we went to the Utah/Oregon State football game. Wow! What a finish! Ten points in the last minute and a half, including at at-the-buzzer field goal made for a nerve-racking, but absolutely thrilling finish! These pictures are of us with Rick and Robyn and of everyone rushing the field. It was a exhilarating night and we can't wait for the next one! Go Utes!!!

Happy Birthday Jackson!

Happy 9th Birthday Jackson! Jackson is growing up way too fast! He wanted a Dairy Queen cake, which was fabulous! So fabulous, I keep sneaking bites of it, although I'm really trying to not eat sugar during the week. He was excited to get a new iPod last month. He paid half, so it worked out great. He also got an RC car from Nana and Bapa. Between all the kids on the street, there is always a race going on. He was also excited to get some new University of Utah clothes, so now he can go to the games in style. He's such a wonderful kid, and still a hard worker. We love you, Jackson!

First Day of School

First day of school--yea! Jackson was so excited to get the teacher he really wanted. Kaitlyn was excited for new and old friends (she's our social butterfly), and Luke was just excited to play on the playground at preschool. His friend Eli said, "Luke, you can go to my school.", so now it's not Luke's school, but Eli's school. They all love it and I'm not quite sure what to do with my few hours of kid-free time!

Cascade Springs

We went to Cascade Springs from the cabin in Midway over Labor Day weekend. While we've been there before, we always love walking the trail and finding small fish in the pond.
